THE FAMILY GUIDE · OCTOBER 2026
A thoughtful start
to a new chapter.
Asta Online School is being developed for families looking for structured, self-paced learning with room for curiosity and practical discovery. The first planned year groups are Year 4 and Year 7.
Free parent accounts now include a four-week learning preview for Year 4 and Year 7. Paid enrolment and full annual courses are not yet available. Operating permissions, recognition, assessment support and final terms must be established before launch.
How a learning day will work
Children follow a clear sequence: a short recorded explanation or readable equivalent, guided practice, independent tasks and an understanding check. Some lessons involve reading, paper work or hands-on investigations away from a screen.
There are no live classes in the first version. Families can organise their day around the learning plan. A younger child may need help with instructions, materials and practical activities. Speaking and listening work may need a partner. Detailed time and support expectations will be confirmed before enrolment.
A curriculum with a clear foundation
Planning uses the National Curriculum for England. Year 4 is within Key Stage 2, while Year 7 begins Key Stage 3. KS3 outcomes cover Years 7–9; our Year 7 sequence is a proposed first step through that broader programme.
English, mathematics, science and history form the first core content plans. Wider subject planning includes geography, computing, art and design, music, languages, movement and personal development. A 36-week structure is a planning model, not a published school calendar.
Montessori-inspired practical work, choices and reflection support the subject sequence. Asta does not currently claim Montessori certification, Cambridge registration or school accreditation.
Straightforward family pricing
| Child | Monthly | Annual |
|---|---|---|
| First child | $139 | $1,390 |
| Second child | $104 | $1,040 |
| Third and each additional child | $69 | $690 |
| Example: four children | $381 | $3,810 |
All prices are in USD. Annual payment is upfront and covers 12 months for the price of 10. The sibling amounts are fixed prices, rounded in the family's favour. A four-child family saves $762 against twelve monthly payments.
The planned subscription includes learning materials, activities, printable resources and understanding checks. Final inclusions, any required materials, payment terms and support arrangements will be published before payments open.
Feedback and future AI support
We plan clear answer keys for closed questions and published criteria for open work. The process and availability of human review must be confirmed. A quiz score alone will not be presented as proof of complete understanding.
AI explanations, hints and spoken practice are proposed future features. They are not operating on this preview. Accuracy, age-appropriate safeguards and child-data handling need to be addressed before use with students.
Why Asta
Asta is the name of our founder’s mother. The school carries that personal connection into an ambition to make engaging, thoughtful learning more affordable for families.
What is ready today
Parent accounts, learner profiles and four weeks of English, mathematics, science and history are available now. The preview includes readable lesson scripts, reading, tasks, parent answer guides, printable pages and saved session progress. Recorded videos, payments and the full annual programme are not available yet.
The planned operating base is the UAE, with international learners in mind. Local operating permission and recognition in a learner’s country are separate questions. Families should verify applicable schooling requirements before relying on an online programme as their main education.
