Keep the parent role separate

Open the learner space before handing over a device. The parent area requires the parent password. If a child uses an independent login, the parent can manage or disable it in learner settings. Keep recovery codes private and sign out on shared devices.

What the learning space does not do

There is no live classroom, camera or microphone access, public messaging or open-ended AI chatbot in the portal. AI narration is prepared from authored lesson text. Playing it does not send learner answers or account details to OpenAI.

Practical work needs a grown-up

Read instructions before using tools, food, outdoor spaces or physical activities. Choose age-appropriate materials and a safe space. Stop or adapt an activity if it is not suitable for your child or home. A written activity cannot assess the safety of your surroundings.

For a problem with Asta content or account access, contact support@astaschool.com. Do not send a child’s sensitive details unless needed to resolve the issue. This email is not an emergency service or a live safeguarding response team.

Understand the records

Parents can view their own learners’ saved answers and results. They can export family data and delete their account through settings. The privacy notice explains storage, essential cookies, narration and provider-held logs.
