What to have ready
- A laptop, desktop or tablet with a modern browser; a keyboard is helpful for longer answers.
- An internet connection for the portal and audio. No exact minimum connection speed has been certified.
- Optional speakers or headphones for narration; written teaching remains available.
- Paper and pencils. A printer is optional because worksheets can be viewed on screen.
Phones and smaller screens
The site and learning portal adapt to narrow screens. Longer writing, tables and diagrams are easier on a larger display. Try the learning on the device your child will use.
Saving work and staying signed in
Use Save draft or Submit on answer pages before navigating away. A browser session keeps a learner signed in; sign out on shared devices. Optional learner logins are controlled by the parent. There is no separate app to install.
Offline activity and connectivity
You can print sessions while connected and work on paper. The site is not a complete offline app: portal access, audio and saving answers need a connection. Paper answers enter the learning history only when typed or described online.
If something does not work
Check the connection, save any work you can, and note the page, device and browser. Email support with the error wording and steps to reproduce it. Do not send passwords, recovery codes or screenshots containing other children’s details.
Audio and video by year
Use a spoken explanation or video wherever a playback button is shown. Written explanations, examples and practice let your child revisit an idea at their own pace.
